Mold Sickening Students, Costing Millions
On November 25, 2002, the Associated Press reported
that schools nationwide have allergy-inducing mold in
walls, carpets, and near ventilation systems. Some blame
aging school buildings, but others says that recently
built schools do not have adequate ventilation. Some
administrators have been forced to close schools and
make million-dollar repairs because of the mold.
