Worcester, other school districts explore legal action to achieve funding equity
WORCESTER – More than two decades ago, a major lawsuit alleging poor students were not getting an equal education in Massachusetts helped push the passage of landmark education reform in the state.
Now, some school officials, frustrated that school funding inequity continues to persist, are contemplating another legal action against the state.
