for Policy Studies in Education
The Center's stated mission is to bring the resources
of College faculty and students to bear on (1) development,
implementation, and evaluation of innovative educational
programs; (2) design of policies necessary to support
educational reform; and (3) related issues of applied
and basic research. The Center offers these services
to state government agencies responsible for promoting
education and human development. Center staff also work
on projects and research studies for local, national,
and international organizations. The Center's research
includes S. Milton, A. Nichol, and J. Cornell's "Leon
County Early Intervention Prekindergarten Program"
(Evaluaton Report, 1995) and J.G. Papagiannis,
S. Milton, and S. Ravinder's Feedback Report on Implementation
and Maintenance of Florida's System of Improvement and
Accountability (August 1997).
