Allen
County Education Fund
Established in 1991 in Ft. Wayne, Indian,
the Education Fund originally focused their work in the policy areas of School
Governance, Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Assessment. The fund has
since narrowed their policy focus to Curriculum and Assessment and has developed
a successful reading program in Allen County. The Allen County Local Education
Fund states that its mission is to mobilize community and business support for
bold, promising, innovative education programs and initiatives.
