Established in 1990 by Indiana University, the Indiana Education Policy Center describes itself as a nonpartisan research and policy center that provides information on education issues affecting communities in Indiana and nationwide. With the goal of improving education policy and practice, the IEPC explores a broad range of issues concerning education such as finance, governance, reform, law, student assessment, and education programs and services. The Indiana Education Policy Center also disseminates research findings, maintains and analyzes state and national data, evaluates reform initiatives and collaborates with state, regional and national organizations to identify trends in education.
