Kentucky Long-Term Policy Research Center

The stated goal of the Kentucky Long-Term Policy Research Center is to provide decision-makers with context for, and broader implications of, pending policy decisions by doing research, data analysis, long-term strategic planning, and information dissemination to government and the public. In this way, Center staff and board members hope to serve as a catalyst for changing the way in which those in power make choices. One of the areas that the Center studies is education, and its reports are available online. The Center's Board encompasses a cross-section of the Kentucky political spectrum, including business leaders, advocates, and local and state (both executive and legislative) government officials.
