Peabody Center for Education Policy- Vanderbilt University

The Peabody Center for Education Policy, founded in 1994, states its mission as the advancement and understanding of education reform and accountability at the local, state, national and international levels. The Peabody Center takes a multi-disciplinary approach to more fully comprehend the design, implementation, effects and implications of education policy. The Center accomplishes its mission through academic research on such topics as district takeovers, achievement gaps, and racial desegregation. It also develops education policy and fosters international capacity-building.
