May 10, 2018If enacted, the plan would meet funding goals for elementary and secondary education funding as outlined in state law. It also would add another $10 million for school busing, which Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Dan Brown described as “excellent.” And it includes $50 million more for early childhood education.
The budget proposal applies to state spending for the fiscal year beginning in July.
